PostSubject: Ixora   Tue Jun 22, 2010 2:19 am

Name: Ixora

Location: South Continent

Description: This town... more like a hamlet really, is a settlement that sits beside a great forest. It is made up of crude materials, like it was one of the last places God made. And while its inhabitants lay claim to the forest at the edge of the village, rarely does anyone venture into it. The forest, from above, and without, looks like any other large forest, with so much foliage that it is impossible to see what lies within from an aerial view. however, the forest holds the ruins of an ancient city, what was formerly known as Ixora.

Quite some years ago, about three centuries and a half, a war was fought in the Ixora city, leaving it in ruins. As the war ended, a dying enemy soldier cursed the city in the hearing of the people. Shortly after that, an epidermic broke out, which wiped out more than half the populace. Believing that it was the soldier's curse come true, they left the ruins, but unable to leave the relics and tombs of their ancestors behind, they only moved some distance off. Fear kept them from tending to the ruins, allowing trees, shrubs and forest to take the place over. The myth of the soldier's curse continued to pass down, even until this generation. The big question is: "was there actually a curse?"
