Reputation Points

Reputation also plays a dire part in your role-play experience here at Dragonia. Reputation is essentially the fame that you earned in your endeavors and
job completion. It is to be noted that it will take many hours and adventures before one can truly become famous and respected in the world of Dragonia. However, fame also comes with a price. As your reputation increases, people from around world start to take note of your ability and skill. In other words, it will give members an opportunity to metagame to a small extent.

The easiest method for earning reputation points would be through completing Light jobs.

Job and Reputation Rank

Rank D Job → 1 Reputation Point
Rank C Job → 3 Reputation Points
Rank B Job → 6 Reputation Points
Rank A Job → 10 Reputation Points
Rank S Job → 15 Reputation Points

Earning bad reputation works in very similar matter. You just have to earn reputation points trough completing Dark Jobs.

Rank D Job → -1 Reputation Point
Rank C Job → -3 Reputation Points
Rank B Job → -6 Reputation Points
Rank A Job → -10 Reputation Points
Rank S Job → -15 Reputation Points

Next, as you earn more reputation points, your name will become known to all in the world of Dragonia. However, before that, there is a long journey ahead of you. Below is a list of how recognized a warrior, archer, mage etc. will be with the amount of reputation they have earned.

Reputation Points
1 - 25 → A nobody, you have just started out as a traveler and nobody else cares what you do or what you say. All in all, you are just a noob in the presence of other warriors. So be polite and greet your senior.

26 - 75 → You have gained some fame as a mage and a few people know your name. If a client hears that you are taking their job, they no longer have
doubts that you might fail. Still, You are more or less insignificant, merely a 'supporting character' in the presence of important people.

76 - 150 → Your name is now well known amongst all the guilds. Everyone knows that you have some ability and they will never dare look down upon you. The clients are now more than willing to pinpoint you for their job requests. But wait a minute, fame comes with a price. Dark guilds are now aware that you might be a threat to them and who knows what they might do to you. You might even be invited to join their guilds. So watch your back whenever you are out on a job!

> 150 → Your fame has spread throughout the whole world. Every single soul, even the Magic Council, knows of your great ability and power. Your every word and every action hold great consequences, so watch what you do in the public. Furthermore, the Council may even contemplate on giving you the title of a Ten Great Mages in your continent. The Dark Guilds now view you as a threat not to be reckon with. They no longer desire to recruit you as a member but instead, they will try to avoid you in any cost. Then again, stronger opponents will appear in your path. So be prepared, its either your funeral or theirs.

However, it is essential to note that like in the real world, fame is a fickle friend. Though it takes one such a long time to earn reputation point to build up on one's fame, it will take only a manner of seconds before one tarnishes his own reputation. Below are some ways how one may lose their reputation.

Losing Reputation Points

  • Murder
  • Assault
  • Destruction of Property
  • Petty Crimes (Thievery, drug dealing)
  • Illegal Magic Trading

These are just a few way in which you can lose Reputation points, there are many other ways too.

Bounties

When a traveler completes a job posted on request board or gained by any other way at least 3 persons will get to know about it. One of them is the one who placed the job of course, second is the one who does the job and the third is "manager". Every jobs runs trough at least one manager, not even a simplest job passes trough without at least one of them noting it in their heads. Light Mages and Dark Mages have their own separated managers.

No Light Mage likes that Dark Mages are doing evil things and Dark Mages don't really like if Light ones too good things either. It would be only logical that Dark ones will gain a bounty on their heads. In Dragion universe they gain one aswell, it is normally placed by Light Mages, but not only dark mages gain themselves a bounty, all Light Mages will gain a bounty on their heads aswell. That one is placed by Dark Mages. Managers have created quite simple but effective way to figure out the bounty that should be placed on one's head.

Light Mages → +1 Reputation Point = 50,000 Scales
Dark Mages → -1 Reputation Point = 50,000 Scales
Quote :

Quick Example:
Light Mage has 10 Reputation Points. A Dark Mage captures her and earns 500,000 Scales

Bounty Hunting

Bounty Hunting is rather easy way to make money. A mage of opposite Affiliation will hunt each other down and then can earn money which is placed on his/her head. After someone has been you can count your character as dead and start over.
